Coach Contact List

Coaches can help you to advance and train.  When you purchase an ice package from CIFSC, you also need to contact a coach to give you a lesson during that package time.  All of our coaches arrange their own private lessons.   The Club recommends that you talk to a number of different coaches.  You are employing them and need to make sure that they are compatible with you and your skater.   Contact your coach BEFORE signing up for a package to be sure there will be lesson time available for your skater.  A coach generally gives a 15-20 minute lesson to each student during a package and that limits the number of students a coach can work with during each package.        

Choosing a coach is a personal choice; things you should discuss include:

  • goals

  • what you expect to gain from the lessons

  • what you expect of them/what they expect from you

  • what competitions to consider attending

  • who chooses competitions

  • who selects the music for your routine

  • who choreographs routine

  • questions regarding skate selection

  • fee schedule and payment
