Club fundraisers: all profits stay with the
club to help offset ice fees.
-
Flower Sale - Flowers will be sold during the annual
ice show.
-
Button Sale - Buttons (pictures of the skaters,
taken at the first ice show practice) will be sold
prior to the ice show.
- 50/50
Raffle - Raffle will be held before and during
intermission at the ice show.
Credit earning opportunities: all are
optional, but will help offset individual ice costs
and are only open to members who skate the regular
fall/winter season and have not graduated high
school. Even though these are optional
activities, each club member is strongly
encouraged to participate since a percentage of the
profits stay with the club to offset expenses.
-
Water/Coke products sales at Riverfront
Rendezvous - CIFSC is responsible for selling
soda/water at Riverfront Rendezvous during the
entire July 4th weekend event. Members are
encouraged to work a three hour shift during the
weekend. Volunteers who work at least one
shift are eligible to receive a credit on their
fall ice package costs. Look for a sign-up
page on the website in late May/June.
-
Concession stand - CIFSC family members have the
opportunity to work in the concession stand at
K. B. Willett Arena during Saturday and Tuesday
Learn to Skate (LTS), Saturday and Sunday Public
Skate Sessions and during the weekend of the Ice
Show. Workers must be 18 years or older
(no one under the age of 18 is allowed in the
concessions area). Workers are required to
attend a 30-minute training session prior to
working in the concession stand for the first
time (information on this training session will
be posted on the website). The skater's
ice package costs will be credited approximately
$6/hour for each hour worked. In addition,
at the end of the skating season, a concession
bonus check is received by the club and those
funds will be divided up according to the number
of hours worked and this additional credit can
be used towards the following year's fall ice
packages. No cash payments will be made
for hours worked beyond the skater's package
costs. For more information, contact Lori
Musack, Concessions Crew Chief. Click on
the
Concessions Directions page to sign up.
-

three Synchro teams can sign up to be a Junior
Herder (managing a flock of plastic pink
flamingos - moving them from house to house and
