Costume resale & GK Elite Sale

Sunday, October 19, 2003

5:30 PM to 8:00 PM

Willett Warming Room

Something OLD…

Don’t miss our annual costume resale on Sunday, October 19, from 5:30 to 8:00 PM, in the Willett warming room. This is a wonderful opportunity to buy and sell pre-owned dresses, skates, wind suits, sweaters, etc.

…and, something NEW!

No, it’s not a wedding, but it’s almost as exciting! GK Elite dresses will also be sold at this time. The manufacturer is giving us some new dresses and skatewear to sell on consignment. Proceeds from these sales will benefit the synchronized teams. Due to rink restrictions, this is the only time these items will be available for sale at the rink this fall. So don’t miss out!

Concession Stand News

Here’s an easy way to offset the cost of figure skating. Put in a few hours at the concessions stand at Willett. Shifts are available exclusively for our club members during Saturday morning Learn to Skate, Friday night Rock Night on Ice, weekend public skating sessions, and during the Ice Show in April.  Workers will earn $6.00 per hour in credit on their account, which is applied against charges for packages, costumes,

membership, etc. If you are interested in working, check the sign-up book for available shifts. The book is kept in the CIFSC tray at Willett, located near the pay phone. Or, contact our Concessions Crew Chief, Lori Musack.

Tape-Playing Schedule

Included in this newsletter is the tape-playing schedule for the year. Please make a note of when you are scheduled to play tapes. As in the past, if you cannot make it to your scheduled time, it is your responsibility to find a replacement.
